Oyebisi Babatunde Oluseyi

Oyebisi is a Development Consultant, Social Network for Development Expert (SN4D) and Intellectual Entrepreneur.

His, is the truest story of a Nigerian- that of self development and determination to succeed- values from a strong family background with an average middle class upbringing, hard work, personal development, education and Godly devotion as the avenue to getting to the top and the conviction that to lead is to serve.

With a father from Oyo town and a mother from Iwo, Oyebisi was born in Ibadan to the Oyebisi’s family in the 70’s. The first of four, Oyebisi was raised without a silver spoon but with “golden spoons” in view.

Working his way through higher education coupled with many challenges, Oyebisi started investing in himself after college- researching, studying, re-learning, thinking globally but acting locally and volunteering for good causes/courses. He went on to join various educational and professional networks, writing articles and participating in discussions and forums for the purposes of sharing and learning from others.

Oyebisi’s public life started in 2004 with his visit to Botswana attending and presenting a workshop at the 5thCivicus World Assembly.  Upon his return he joined the Nigeria Network of NGOs- www.nnngo.org as a volunteer working on the Networks membership and ICT needs.

A UNICEF Voices of Youth member- www.unicef.org/voy Oyebisi founded the UNICEF Rural Voices of Youth (RVOY) in 2005 following his experience as a trained Agricultural Extension expert and was recognized in 2008 by UNICEF as the founder of RVOY which now runs in over 30 countries of the world.

Oyebisi Babatunde Oluseyi a development consultant and expert, has spoken, consulted and worked inNigeria, Europe (United Kingdom- England, Scotland, Wales) and Switzerland, Africa (East- Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, West- Ghana, Senegal and South- Botswana, South Africa), Middle East (Lebanon) South America (Uruguay) and North America (United States of America) on various developmental issues ranging from the Millennium Development Goals, Mentoring and Financing for Development through to Child Participation and Youth Development.

He joined the United Nation Childrens Fund (UNICEF), Headquarters in New York in 2008 as the Assistant Coordinator for the Voices of Youth project. Oyebisi lives in New York and Nigeria. He is married to his lovely wife and friend Oluwatoyin.
